Applications for our various 2020 Engineering Apprenticeship opportunities are now open with the following companies and corresponding trades:
Qantas Airways, Brisbane
Avionics, Mechanical, Structures, Aircraft Painter, Trimmer, Fitter and Machinist
Network Turbine Solutions, Perth
Mechanical and Avionics
The 4-year apprenticeship will be comprised of a combination of TAFE, in-house courses and practical training (please note, some apprenticeships span 3 years, depending on trade). You will move through areas of the relevant business applicable to the relevant trade, receiving training on a Qantas Airways, Network Turbine Solutions, or customer aircraft.

You’ll have –
- Australian Citizenship or hold Australian Permanent Residency Status
- Completed a minimum of Year 10 or equivalent
- A demonstrated mechanical aptitude with an eagerness to learn a hands-on trade
- An interest in how things work and a high level of motivation
- Exceptional teamwork skills
- Completion of Pre-Vocational training is considered highly advantageous.
- As part of this application process, you will be able to submit your preference to join the Apprentice Program within either Qantas Airways (Based in Brisbane) or Network Turbine Solutions (Based in Perth).
